4th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON HUMANITIES - ICH 2017 “EXTREMISM IN 21st CENTURY: THE ROLE OF LAW, MEDIA AND CULTURE“

Bedёr University, would like to cordially invite you to participate in the 4th International Conference on Humanities ICH 2017. Conference will be held in Tirana, Albania, 24 May 2017. The ICH 2017 aims to bring together leading academics, scientists, researchers and also professionals to exchange and share their experiences and research results about all aspects of extremism, culture, media, communication, policies, institutions and law. Over the last several years, the spread of extremism has greatly troubled the society. Extremist activities are threating the principles enshrined in the United Nations Charter and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to maintain peace and security, foster sustainable development, promote the respect for human rights and deliver much needed humanitarian aid. The main focus is to increase awareness on, and insight of, the phenomena of and to promote collaboration across the wide spectrum of actors from the government, civil society and academician. To achieve this, the conference interrogated various thematic areas –in extremism, culture, media, communication, policies, institutions and law. The conference aims to explore the impact of media, culture, religion and government institutions on facing extremism. It also provides the interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary environment for researchers, and academics and specialists to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns, practical challenges encountered and the solutions adopted in the field of the conference.
